Abu Zar Shirodi, head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization, told ILNA that the recording of a report about the entry of Israeli and American aircraft into the skies over Iran, 30 minutes before the attack on the Leader’s Residence, was not true, and no verbal or written report on this matter has been recorded.
Shirodi’s remarks come in response to a video circulating on social media in which a person, titled “controller of Mehrabad Airport,” says that 30 minutes before the attack on the Leader’s Residence, he reported the entry of 30 U.S. and Israeli aircraft into Iran’s airspace.
In this regard, Shirodi said: “If such a report existed, we would certainly have informed people about it ourselves.”
Shirodi, in response to the question of whether the aircraft in the claim had, in principle, the capability to be tracked and identified, added: “If these aircraft also had the capability to be tracked and identified, that falls within the military domain and has nothing to do with the civilian domain.”
