Abbas Araqchi, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic, wrote, after publishing a portion of a report from the Pentagon, that the notion of “Iran being defenseless” is incorrect and that hundreds of buildings and facilities at U.S. military centers have been damaged or destroyed, and dozens of aircraft have also been lost.

Araqchi wrote: “This is only the tip of the iceberg. We will reveal everything in due time.”

He added: “It will not be pleasing to those who have lied about Iran.”
