🔻 Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, who has traveled to New York based on a report from Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to a piece in the newspaper “Israel Hayom,” accused the “Israeli lobby” of exerting influence on U.S. policy toward Iran.

The article in “Israel Hayom” says that Israel and the United States should deepen their military, technological, intelligence, and economic cooperation to such an extent that any financial harm to Israel would also have a “significant cost” for Washington.

The author of this piece also believes that Israel should simultaneously expand its economic relations with more markets.

In a post on X, Mr. Araqchi, referring to this section, wrote: “The Israeli lobby is no longer afraid to make clear its role and influence in U.S. policy toward Iran.”

The Iranian foreign minister added: “It is time for Washington to free itself from these shackles.”
