A U.S. Navy MH-60 Seahawk helicopter is hovering over the flight deck of the USS Mason destroyer (DDG-87) as it flies in place; the ship is carrying out the United States’ “Steel Wall” blockade against Iran. As of August 17, U.S. Central Command units have changed the routes of 64 commercial vessels to ensure the blockade is carried out, stopped three vessels from moving, and inspected two ships.
