A source in Sanaa told Al Arabiya English that the missile the Houthis intended to fire fell on a house in the Al Zummar neighborhood of the city after failing to launch.

The Yemeni news agency “Khabar Lil Anbaa” also reported at the same time that a ballistic missile, after failing to launch, fell in the Shu’ub neighborhood in the center of Sanaa, under the control of the Houthi forces supported by the Islamic Republic.

It is not yet clear whether both reports refer to one failed missile launch or two separate incidents.

So far, no report has been published on possible damage or casualties from the incident, but last week a missile launched by the Houthis fell in the Sanhan area in the south of Sanaa, resulting in the death of a woman.
