A group of telecommunications retirees held simultaneous protest gatherings in Tehran, Tabriz, Mashhad, Ahvaz, and several other cities, and protested the mismanagement of the Executive Headquarters of Imam Khomeini and the “Etemad Mobin” consortium of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Ahmad Alavi, a university professor and economist, said that resources that belonged to workers and retirees have been transferred to institutions affiliated with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, and instead of safeguarding the interests of society, they are used for war-mongering and internal repression.
