🔶 A coalition led by Saudi Arabia targeted the Houthis’ objectives
The Houthi-affiliated television network “Al-Masirah” reported on Friday evening, 2 Mordad (24 July), that Saudi Arabia had attacked the governorate of Hodeidah.
According to a report by Agence France-Presse, residents of the port city of Hodeidah heard sounds of explosions, and a witness said that the sound of the blasts could be heard from near the port.
Based on reports from local media, the Houthi militias said that communications organization facilities and the island of Kamaran were the targets of the attacks. According to these reports, a woman was injured on the island of Kamaran, and a worker was also injured in Hodeidah.
Saudi media also reported that the coalition led by the country targeted the “military positions of the Houthis” and destroyed targets that threatened commercial shipping.
The military coalition led by Saudi Arabia later announced that its forces had targeted the Houthi positions that threatened shipping in the Red Sea. The coalition added that the operation had ended.
