🔸US Central Command in the Middle East announced on Sunday, 15 Shahrivar, that during the latest phase of a naval blockade against Iranian ports, it had diverted the routes of 92 commercial vessels and reported that an Iranian oil tanker was sunk as a result of a U.S. attack.

🔸According to a statement from the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) headquarters, American forces disabled three ships during this period and inspected two other vessels.

🔸The new round of Iran’s maritime blockade began in late Tir, following the collapse of the Islamabad agreement, at the order of the U.S. president.

🔸This comes as CENTCOM said on Saturday that, in response to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ ballistic missiles being fired at two American warships, it targeted three Iranian oil tankers near Khark, Jask, and in the Gulf of Oman.

🔸In the early hours of Sunday, CENTCOM released a video of the “MT Kilo” tanker showing that after the Saturday attack, the vessel overturned and was then sunk by U.S. forces. In the explanation from the headquarters of the American forces in the Middle East, it was stated that this tanker sank in the Sea of Oman.
