🔺Two Israeli ministers demand expulsion of the British ambassador and sanctions against the country

▪Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s finance minister, after reports about restrictions on Britain’s trade with West Bank settlements, called for the immediate expulsion of that country’s ambassador.

▪He wrote on the X network on Monday evening: “Expel the British ambassador tonight! Britain’s guardianship over the land of Israel is over.”

▪Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s minister of national security, also reacted, but differently.

▪On X, and in Spanish, he wrote: “It is time for the government of Israel to publicly recognize that the Malvinas Islands are Argentine territory.” He asked Benjamin Netanyahu to accept Argentina’s sovereignty and to “sanction Britain as long as the occupation continues.”
