Flooding in Mazandaran; offices and educational centers shut down;

Heavy rainfall in the Mazandaran province led to flooding of streets, trees falling, and the blockage of access routes, and all provincial offices were closed on Tuesday.

Eisa Ghasemi Tusi, deputy for management development and resources at the Mazandaran provincial governorate, said that by order of the governor, all offices, banks, educational centers, and executive agencies in the province are closed, and school and university exams have also been canceled.

The Meteorological Organization had issued an orange alert.

Heavy downpours in Babolsar, Babol, Mahmoudabad, Sari, and Juybar, in addition to flooding streets, have raised the water level of rivers and there is a possibility of flooding in the coming hours.
