Mourad Vaisi, senior analyst at Iran International, said: “By intensifying the blockade, the United States is pushing the Islamic Republic toward collapse and kneeling down without any official reference to the phrase ‘overthrow’ or ‘regime change.’”

He added: “This strategy is based simultaneously on a severe blockade, neutralizing the Strait of Hormuz cards, and demonstrating firm resolve to provide military support for these actions.”
