The Wall Street Journal reported that the price of diesel fuel in the United States on Tuesday reached a record high of $6.27 per gallon (about 3.8 liters) and said that the coincidence of Iran’s war and the fragility of the global fuel supply have increased energy costs.
The newspaper added that the average diesel price across the United States has risen from $3.69 per gallon last year, and on Friday it crossed the $6 mark for the first time.
According to this report, the average diesel price in the state of California reached $8.21 per gallon on Tuesday.
