🔶 “Secret meeting between the US, Israel, and several Arab countries about Iran”

According to Axios, senior military commanders of the United States, Israel, and several Arab countries held a secret meeting in Germany last week to discuss a war with Iran and broader regional tensions. Two Israeli officials told Axios about the report.

The private meeting was convened at the initiative of Admiral “Brad Cooper,” commander of CENTCOM (U.S. Central Command), and none of the participating countries officially announced it.

Axios wrote that although such meetings had been held before, this is the first such gathering since the U.S.-Israel war with Iran, more than six months ago.

According to the report, the meeting provided a rare opportunity for Israeli military commanders and Gulf-region Arab countries—some of which do not have formal diplomatic relations with Israel—to meet and exchange views.
