The Israeli army, by releasing a video simultaneously with Ali Khamenei’s funeral ceremony, said it should remember his legacy for the people of Iran; “Decades of suppressing the Iranian people, squandering the country’s resources on terrorism and wars, and deepening the crises that Iranian citizens are still dealing with.”

The message added: “The multi-day ceremony has ended, but the consequences of his rule will remain for years to come.”
