🔸‌Sedef Baghbani, among those injured by the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising, published a video of her presence in protests in 1401 on Wednesday, the 25th of Shahrivar, on the fourth anniversary of Mahsa Amini’s death, and wrote: “For Mahsa, who awakened a pain in us that all the women of Iran were familiar with, and from then on silence was no longer permitted.”

🔸‌She, who currently lives and works in Italy, released this video under the title “My Free Woman, Too.”

🔸‌Along with these images from the 1401 protests in Iran, Sedef Baghbani wrote: “Without any fear, and with my whole being, I shouted in the middle of the streets where you—always with your Islamic thoughts—wounded my body and soul and chained me. And from those days onward, I have acted even more than ever. Woman, Life, Freedom.”

🔸‌In Aban 1401, during the memorial ceremony for Hadith Najafi, one of those who died in the 1401 protests, Sedef Baghbani was targeted by security officers’ gunfire, and more than 130 pellets were fired at her with a shotgun.

🔸‌Mahsa Amini died on Shahrivar 25, a few days after being detained by the Guidance Patrol and taken to Kowsar Hospital. In the first hours after news of her death was announced, people gathered in protest in front of that hospital.
