🔶 Putin Again Expresses Gratitude to North Korea for Support in Ukraine War

Since Russia began its attack on Ukraine, it has expanded its cooperation with North Korea significantly. Now Vladimir Putin, head of the Kremlin, has thanked this ally for its support in the war in Ukraine.

According to a video released by the Kremlin, the Russian president said on Sunday, July 19 (28 Tir), during a meeting in Moscow with Choe Son Hui, North Korea’s foreign minister, that he wants to “thank once again” Pyongyang for its support for his country’s “special operation.”

Putin added that the “heroic actions” of North Korean soldiers “will never be forgotten.” He said these soldiers “will be honored like our compatriots.”

The Kremlin chief also praised the so-called “mutual understanding” formed with Kim Jong Un, the North Korean leader.
