I had a very good conversation with the new British prime minister, Andy Barnam. We discussed many topics, including the outstanding relationship we have with Britain.

In the not-too-distant future, we will have a meeting to examine matters of mutual interest. The prime minister has a great task ahead, but he will be able to do it, and of course the United States of America will help stand by him! We discussed North Sea oil, trade, a military alliance, mine clearance in the Strait of Hormuz, and many other topics. This was an interesting call and went very well. I wished for Prime Minister Barnam success and divine grace!
