🔶 Israeli army says it reported an attack on “Hezbollah infrastructure and elements” in southern Lebanon

The Israeli army, in a message posted on the X social network (formerly Twitter), said that airstrikes on the evening of Friday (September 4 / Shahrivar 13) in southern Lebanon were carried out in response to a Hezbollah drone attack, and that during the operation “members of this group and its infrastructure” were targeted.

In a statement published by the Israeli army early on Saturday, September 5, it said: “In response to the launch of a drone toward our forces in the security area, the Israel Defense Forces attacked terrorists and infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon.”

The Israeli army added in its message that “Hezbollah’s weapon stores, which had been designated for attacks on Israel, were among the targets that were hit in the Friday-night operation.”

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said that during the Israeli attacks near Nabatieh and Ar-Ramadiyeh, three people were killed and 23 others were injured, and that among the injured were a number of women and children.
