TankerTrackers said that on Friday it identified and recorded 17 ship-to-ship transfers of crude oil and gas (LNG and LPG) that took place in the Gulf of Oman. In these transfers, at least 24 million barrels of oil and oil products were moved. TankerTrackers also said it has identified more oil tankers carrying oil that are waiting in regional waters to find another ship to carry out the transfer operations.
