🔻Israel says it targeted locations in southern Lebanon after drone attacks toward its soldiers

The Israeli army said early Sunday that, in response to the launch of two drones by Hezbollah toward Israeli soldiers, it targeted positions in southern Lebanon.

Earlier, the Israeli army had warned residents of areas near a building in the Arab Salim settlement in southern Lebanon to evacuate it, saying the building would be targeted because of Hezbollah’s use of it.

Hezbollah has not yet commented on the matter.

Israel has called parts of southern Lebanon a security zone and says it will not withdraw from these areas until Hezbollah is disarmed.

Since March 2, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have killed more than 4,300 people.
