Recent battles have reached the Bairin area, and intense clashes are currently taking place between Yemeni forces and forces loyal to Saudi Arabia there.

If Yemeni forces manage to take control of Bairin, this would cut the road that connects the city of Taiz to the Al-Turba and Aden region, and as a result, more of the routes that connect Taiz to other areas will be cut off.
