Hearsay reported that Amirhossein Akbari-Manfard, a 27-year-old political prisoner held in Evin Prison, was sentenced to death by Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Abolghasem Salavati on the charge of “armed rebellion” through membership in the Iranian People’s Mojahedin Organization.

According to this report, the verdict was served to him two days ago.

Hearsay also reported that Amirhossein Akbari-Manfard was arrested in Karaj in the winter of 1403 together with his father, brother, and sister, and that three other members of the family were released later after posting bail.
