Death of a suspect and arrest of 4 people in an operation by the Israeli army in the West Bank;

According to statements by the Israeli army and the internal security agency, the country’s military forces, during a nighttime operation in several villages in the Samaria area in the north of the West Bank, arrested four people and killed a suspect.

According to Israeli officials, the individual—who had been surrounded in a building after throwing a Molotov cocktail and improvised explosive materials—was targeted and killed when the Nahal Brigade forces entered, due to “an effort to carry out aggressive attacks.”

Also, during searches of 70 locations in these villages, about 60 people were questioned, after which the four main suspects were arrested, including three people on charges of arms smuggling and one person on charges of planning an imminent attack.

In the course of this operation, Israeli forces also discovered and seized significant quantities of ammunition, rocket launchers, and various other military equipment.
