🔶 The Wall Street Journal: Iran has resumed production of ballistic missiles

In a report citing “informed sources,” The Wall Street Journal says that despite heavy attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran’s missile sites and industrial facilities during both of the recent wars, Tehran is again engaged in assembling missiles using both liquid and solid fuel.

According to the report, intelligence data point to activity at several underground sites, including the Khejer missile facility in the southeast of Iran. Officials say Iran is also trying to build new underground assembly points to stay safe from renewed attacks.

So far, Iran has largely been assembling new missiles from existing parts, in smaller quantities than before the war. During the conflict, the United States and Israel damaged a number of the industrial facilities needed to produce missile components and the missiles themselves, and the ongoing naval blockade has also made it more difficult to import parts and raw materials for solid fuel.
