Maryam Shakarani, an economic journalist, has said that she has been summoned to court over publishing personal photos without the mandatory hijab on social media. Shakarani wrote on her account on the social media platform “X” that she must appear before Branch Two of the Criminal Court of the judicial complex of Tehran state employees on 27 Mehr 1405 to address this case.
