Abbas Ganbari’s mother, one of the victims of Dey 1404, lit a candle in memory of her son’s hopes and said: “My son was a hero, and he will always remain forever.”

Abbas Ganbari, a 37-year-old engineer, was killed on 18 Dey 1404 when government officers shot him in the heart in front of the Gouim police station in Shiraz.
