🔻IRGC says it has shot down a drone over the Strait of Hormuz

Islamic Republic of Iran’s state broadcaster, IRIB, reported that an MQ-1 drone was shot down by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC public relations office said the drone was “tracked” and “destroyed” by the IRGC’s “advanced aerospace air defense system and under the control of an integrated air defense network.”

The IRGC has not provided any further details regarding this report.
