Hamid Rezaei, a member of parliament for Tehran, accused Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian of having declared “helplessness and inability” at a night-time government rally, and said that Americans attacked by inviting Pezeshkian to a wedding ceremony in Koohestak Port in Sirik. Rezaei, referring to US missile attacks and the deaths of a number of people at the ceremony in Sirik, told Pezeshkian: “Mr. Pezeshkian! American missiles went to the Sirik wedding with your invitation card and made the people’s celebration bloody.” The United States has not yet accepted responsibility for the missile strike on the wedding ceremony at Koohestak Port, but officials of the Islamic Republic have said the U.S. Army is responsible for it.
