▪The U.S. ambassador to Israel warned that announcing a ban on Britain’s trade with Israeli settlements in the West Bank is likely to prompt a U.S. response. Mike Hackbee told the BBC news network that there will be “no doubt” of a reaction, including at the level of individual U.S. states.

▪Hackbee added that this could have a “huge economic impact on British businesses,” because some companies may be barred from operating in certain states.

▪Earlier, Randy Fine, a Republican representative, wrote on X: “Florida is one of Britain’s biggest trade partners. They need to know that their showy project in support of Muslim terrorism could cost them billions of dollars.”
