Ahmad Naderi, a member of the Parliament Presidium, told KhabarOnline that the Islamic Republic, if necessary, to defend the interests and the country, will carry out a “preemptive strike,” and there is a possibility that the Islamic Republic will again target the interests of the United States and Israel in the region.

Naderi added that in the new phase of its security and military architecture, the Islamic Republic will use the capacity for preemptive strikes in more cases if needed.

He also said that the Islamic Republic is prepared for any scenario, including “an all-out and broad war,” and in such conditions it will give a “reciprocal response.” Naderi told the United States and Israel, “Don’t play with fire.”

The member of the Parliament Presidium also said regarding sanctions that the Islamic Republic is not seeking to escalate tensions, but “if it’s necessary, we will certainly increase tensions,” and if needed, it will provide “heavy responses and a military response.”
