🔶Ghareibabadi: Part of the released assets in Qatar is provided to Iran in the form of goods Kazem Ghareibabadi, deputy foreign minister and head of the Iranian delegation in indirect talks with the United States in Doha, said that at a meeting with Qatari officials, including the country’s central bank, some issues related to the cost of part of Iran’s initial $6 billion were reviewed, and it was decided that, based on the declared needs of the Islamic Republic, the goods required would be purchased and made available to Iran. Ghareibabadi, announcing the end of the indirect negotiations with the United States on Wednesday in Doha, said that part of Iran’s released assets in Qatar would be provided to Tehran in the form of goods. In a conversation with IRNA, he said: “In meetings with Qatari officials, including the central bank, some issues related to the cost of part of the initial six billion dollars were reviewed, and it was decided that, according to the needs declared by our country, purchases of the required goods would be carried out and provided.”
