Zelensky: Russia provides Iran with satellite images of U.S. bases

🔸The President of Ukraine says his country has found that Russian satellites have been widely monitoring U.S. military bases in the Middle East, and that Moscow has provided the information and images to the Islamic Republic of Iran for attacks on these bases.

🔸Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on X: «Since the beginning of July, we have recorded extensive activity by Russian satellites in monitoring Gulf states and U.S. military bases in this region. These images have subsequently been provided to Iran.»

🔸In the past two weeks, when a new round of clashes with the United States began, Iran has carried out extensive attacks on Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain, including U.S. military bases in these countries. The attacks in Jordan led to the deaths of U.S. military personnel.

🔸The Ukrainian president said that «there is a clear link between Russian satellite images of these facilities and Iran’s attacks; both before the attacks and as part of preparing them, and after the attacks to assess the extent of the damage inflicted.»

🔸According to him, only in the days of July 19 and 20 (28 and 29 Tir) four air bases were within the range monitored by Russian satellites: two bases in Bahrain, one in Jordan, and one in Kuwait.

🔸Zelensky emphasized: «The purpose of these actions is completely clear.»

🔸He announced that he is instructing Ukraine’s security agencies to share information about these new Russian assistance measures to the Iranian government with Kyiv’s partners.
