🔶 Two Chinese supertankers leave the Red Sea with Saudi oil

Two Chinese supertankers carrying a total of 4 million barrels of Saudi oil left the Red Sea on Thursday, July 23 (1 Mordad) through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait. Reuters reported the news citing tracking and monitoring data.

The two tankers managed to pass through the blockade by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, while Saudi tankers in recent days have been targeted by attacks from the Houthi insurgents.

The continued actions of the Houthis, who are supported by the Islamic Republic, to disrupt shipping and blockade the Red Sea and to block the Bab al-Mandeb Strait—alongside the ongoing clashes between Iran and the United States and the critical situation of the Strait of Hormuz—have severely affected and endangered energy supply across the world.
