Rouhollah Rahimpor, journalist and political analyst, said that at this specific juncture, the Americans’ priority is clearly that the Islamic Republic should not be able to rebuild its destroyed capabilities and its ability to destroy.

He added that the continuation of economic pressure, financial isolation, and a naval blockade could limit the Islamic Republic’s ability to rebuild its nuclear and military capabilities, as well as to continue its regional activities.
