Reza Talebi, a journalist, said in reference to the attack on Sireik that based on the information available, four missiles hit the site and one missile hit a derrick at a distance of about 100 to 150 meters from it. He pointed to the high accuracy of this type of missile and raised the possibility of an error in the coordinates or the target database not being up to date.
He also, referring to the Secretary-General of the United Nations’ warning about observing humanitarian law, said that in attacks the principles of proportionality and the distinction between military and civilian targets must be followed, adding that the absence of a central warning system in Iran limits the ability to warn people during attacks.
