🔻IRIB confirms missile attack near Shalamcheh border terminal on the Iran-Iraq border, citing the deputy governor of Khuzestan, who said that “two people” were killed in the attack.
Valiollah Hayati, the security deputy of the Khuzestan governorate, told Iranian news agencies that “responsible agencies are investigating the dimensions of this incident.”
He also said that a missile attack was carried out on “a point near Andimeshk” as well.
No information has yet been released about details and possible casualties from this attack.
After these attacks, news sources reported the resumption of “normal travel” by passengers through the Shalamcheh border.
At dawn on Thursday, for the twelfth consecutive night, the United States resumed airstrikes on Iran.
