Fox News reported that, as conditions in the Middle East continue to shift due to the Iran war, its economic repercussions have been “far beyond the battlefield” and have affected the lives of Americans.

According to Fox News, renewed fighting and concerns about disruptions to global energy supply have increased the price of gasoline and revived worries about inflation, right when many Americans are preparing for summer trips.

The network noted that the national average price of a gallon of regular gasoline (about 3.8 liters) increased by only 15 cents in just one week and reached $4.09.

Based on this report, the price of gasoline is about 95 cents higher than a year ago.
