Esmail Baghaei, the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic, said the Strait of Hormuz is under the full control of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic.

Baghaei, in an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, said that after the agreement in Islamabad, the security situation of the Strait of Hormuz improved, but the United States violated this agreement 23 days later.

He added that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz is among the topics being discussed in the ongoing negotiations of the Islamic Republic with Oman, and the two countries are expected to explain the process and results of these talks.
