🔻Criticism by the MP for Bandar Abbas of the Continued Power Outages in Hormozgan Province

Ahmad Moradi, a representative of the people of Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, Bandar Lengeh, and Bomosaa in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, has criticized the continuation of blackouts in Hormozgan Province.

He said that despite the Minister of Energy’s promise to reduce power outages in this province, people are still facing power cuts at temperatures above 50 degrees.

Mr. Moradi emphasized that although there are problems caused by energy imbalance in the country, even a short-term power outage in this province—where the heat is unbearable—can have serious consequences for the people.

This member of parliament added that in many villages, along with the power cuts, water and communication networks also face problems.
