🔶 Basant: The European Union has officially joined the operation of economic expulsion against Iran

Scott Bessent, U.S. Treasury Secretary, announced the official accession of the European Union to the “economic expulsion” operation against the Islamic Republic.

In a message posted on the X network (formerly Twitter), he, while announcing this news, thanked the European Union for a “firm and early” stance and said: “The United States stands solidly with its allies to ensure that Iran’s murderous regime cannot abuse the global financial system to finance its nuclear objectives, weapons programs, and terrorist proxy forces.”

Bessent added: “The world is sending a clear message to Iran, that we will not stop our efforts until the last route and remaining artery is cut off.”
