Ali Motahari, the former deputy speaker of parliament, said Trump will soon again “talk about negotiations” and is forced to come to the negotiating table with the Islamic Republic with humility.
He also said that America’s turn to “provocative operations” on the southern coasts of Iran, and the country’s inability to remove the Strait of Hormuz from the management of the Islamic Republic, according to him, shows Iran’s power; because America knows that direct military operations would cause it heavy casualties.
He added that it is very unlikely that scattered clashes will lead to a full-scale war, and even if the United States manages to occupy an island, in the end it will be forced to leave it while bearing heavy losses.
