A video shared on social media shows violence by several police officers against a child in East Azerbaijan. In the video, the officers beat the child and display abusive behavior toward him.

The police chief of East Azerbaijan has said that the incident occurred on Khordad 14 and after the child was detained following an altercation in the street. According to him, the officers have been suspended from duty and their case is being reviewed for investigation and possible punishment.
