🔻Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, condemned the expulsion of one of its diplomats from Sweden and said that it informed the Swedish ambassador in Tehran that one of the country’s diplomats must leave Iran within 48 hours.

Earlier, Sweden’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it had summoned Iran’s ambassador and asked one of the officials at the Iranian embassy in Stockholm to leave the country. Stockholm said the reason for this decision was an activity “incompatible with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations,” but did not provide further details about the nature of this activity.
