The New York Police Department said the condition of seven of the injured is stable, but a 21-year-old woman is in critical condition. According to police, officers were dispatched to the scene at around 10:37 p.m. local time after receiving reports of the shooting. The injured include four adults and four boys aged 6, 7, 12, and 14. Police found a firearm at the scene, but so far no one has been arrested in connection with this shooting. Investigations are underway into the motive and the perpetrator or perpetrators of the incident.
