U.S. Central Command, after Iranian officials announced that at least four people were killed in a U.S. attack on a wedding ceremony in Sirik in southern Iran, rejected the idea of targeting civilians and told Reuters: “The U.S. Army never targets civilians, unlike the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.”
