🔻The IRGC says a halt to the war is conditional on the United States not intervening in Iran’s nuclear and missile program

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says that for the United States to stop the war, it must halt its threats against the Islamic Republic and accept Tehran’s conditions, including regarding the nuclear program.

Hosein Mahbey said, “If the enemy wants an end to this situation, it must, along with a complete cessation of the war, stop re-threatening.”

He cited other conditions of Iran as Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon and the end of the siege of Yemen.

In the Iran–United States memorandum of understanding, reference was made to stopping the war across all fronts, and Lebanon was mentioned specifically, but Yemen was not mentioned.

The IRGC spokesperson also called for the release of $24 billion in Iranian assets that have been frozen.

He also said that the United States must stop “any kind of interference in Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities.”
