Prime Minister Netanyahu today visited Mount Hermon in Syria together with the Minister of Defense and the Deputy Chief of the General Staff.

He said: “On the eve of a new year, we are at the top of Mount Hermon. We control the entire region, from Mount Hermon to Yarmouk, and from there to the Mediterranean Sea—absolute control that has never been seen before.

We will not allow any terrorist army to establish itself near our border, and this is one of the great achievements we have attained in the war of resurrection.

And from these peaks, there is more to do—the main task is to defeat the Iranian terrorist regime. We are very close to that. We know that ultimately the entire axis will collapse. We are committed to doing this, and we will do it.
