Mideast AI website, on Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar, citing two sources close to the Islamic Republic government, reported that U.S. President Donald Trump has sent a message to Tehran through officials in Pakistan and Qatar, saying that he will not return to the previous understanding between Tehran and Washington.
According to this report, Asim Munir, commander of the Pakistan Army, on 2 Shahrivar during a trip to Tehran, conveyed Trump’s message to officials of the Islamic Republic: “I will not go back to the agreement.”
Three days later, senior officials of Qatar, including the country’s prime minister, also traveled to Iran and conveyed the same message. Based on Mideast AI sources, officials of the Islamic Republic have told the Pakistani and Qatari parties that they accept only the existing understanding and are not willing to reach another agreement.
Mideast AI reported that another Qatari delegation also traveled to Tehran on 15 Shahrivar without an announcement. Ali Al Thuwadi, Qatar’s minister of state, led this delegation and again conveyed to Tehran Trump’s response indicating refusal to return to the understanding.
