Media affiliated with Hamas reported that in an Israeli army attack on a police headquarters of the group in the Jabalia area in the north of the Gaza Strip, seven people were killed.

According to Haaretz, the drone strike targeted a post in the Jabalia camp, and the fatalities included police officers and civilians who were present at the location to receive services.

The Israeli army said it targeted “a terrorist” at the site and is investigating reports related to civilian casualties.

Israel’s attacks in Gaza continue despite the ceasefire since last October. Israel says Hamas is rebuilding its military capabilities under cover of the ceasefire.
