Israeli forces targeted the valleys of al-Salouqi and al-Hujayr in southern Lebanon with artillery shells last night.
Based on a report by Lebanon’s National News Agency, Israeli forces also shelled the forests near the town of Kabriha with heavy machine guns.
The two valleys extend within the districts of Marjayoun, Bint Jbeil, and Nabatieh.
Shelling follows a new wave of intensified Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon. Attacks on Monday morning left at least 11 dead in the town of Kafr Ruman.
The Israeli army announced on Thursday that it had taken operational control of the heights of Ali al-Taher.
